We have free parking at the back entrance of the hostel and we’re very easy to find, just 5 minutes from the main A22 Lagos – Spain motorway.
If you have GPS, our co-ordinates are 37.1004047,-8.6861621, and we are on Rua da Pedra Alcada in Lagos.
(The parking is at the back of the hostel as you look at it from the main street).
If you are coming from the A22, take the main Lagos exit (also signposted to Lagos / Sagres / Vila do Bispo) and follow the road into Lagos from there. When you reach the first roundabout, take the second exit into Lagos and when you arrive at the second roundabout, take your first exit and we’re right there on your left hand side!
1A. FROM THE TRAIN STATION
From the front of the station, walk past the circle of grass and toward the car park. Immediately as you enter the car park, take the little street on the left that brings you around the marina. Continue straight over the footbridge and cross the street on the other side. You should be in the Bus Station car park now. Continue to 1B.
1B. FROM THE BUS STATION
Exit the Bus Station car park at the street located in back of the station. Turn right, walk 1 minute, then veer left at the roundabout.
2. STAY STRAIGHT
Continue up this avenue, Avenida da Republica, all the way to the hostel. You’ll pass through three roundabouts - one by the Lidl supermarket (keep to the left when the road splits), one with the chair statues and one covered in grass! Keep heading straight at each one.
We are twenty metres further on from the grassy roundabout, on the left with the yellow gate. Come on in!
"I spent two weeks at Bura! I definitely loved Lagos, but staying at Bura was one of the best decisions! They helped us with everything we needed, making our holidays...Did I mention the awesome staff?? Love them all."
"Bura is the best place I have ever stayed! In over 30 countries I have never felt so at home. Family is an understatement... I felt closer to the Bura family than I do my own... Do yourself a favor and stay here, even if its just for the people! I love it and will, for sure be back!"
